ART = WORK
Established in 2010 at the heart of Brazil’s Central-West region with the guiding principle ‘Art is Work,’ Plus Galeria was committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive art community for both creators and art enthusiasts.
Our primary goal has always been to democratize the art market, striving to break down barriers and promote inclusivity. With unwavering commitment, we have continually explored new horizons and innovative practices, actively investing in nurturing a diverse and engaged consumer base.
At Plus Galeria, we prided ourselves on showcasing a wide range of artwork crafted with mastery and passion. Our collection encompassed various techniques, sizes and price points, each piece created by the artists themselves. By exclusively featuring original works, we honored the artists’ unique voices and celebrated their talent.
Since our inception, we have embraced the digital world as our platform of choice. By making the prices of all our artwork publicly available, we ensured transparency and fostered an environment that respected both the artists and those who appreciated and acquired their work.
Throughout the past decade, we have curated a multitude of creative events that have brought together artists from diverse disciplines. Our collaborations have spanned visual artists, DJs, photographers, writers, filmmakers, tattoo artists and chefs, resulting in truly unforgettable experiences for all involved.
Events
In addition to the traditional vernissages and finissages (openings and closings of art exhibitions) of individual and collective expos, with the participation of artists represented by Plus Galeria, our gallery has proudly hosted a diverse range of unprecedented events, including:
01. Serigrafada
Created and led by the visionary visual artist Oscar Fortunato, renowned for his mastery of the silkscreen technique, the Serigrafada event was a collective effort that brought together a diverse group of artists. From Oscar himself to special guests, these talented creators dedicated themselves to the meticulous and passionate process of printing their artworks onto garments.
Experiencing Serigrafada was like stepping into an artist’s studio, where visitors had the rare privilege of observing the artistic process unfold in real time. From the careful selection of colors, the precise application of each layer, to the heat-drying process that generated smoke, every intricate step was revealed, offering a deep and intimate glimpse into the creation of these exceptional prints. It was like magic, and spectators were thrilled to witness the transformation of something ordinary into something extraordinary, special, and unique.
Over the years, the Serigrafada event has left an indelible mark, inspiring and serving as a reference for artists and galleries across Brazil. Its enduring legacy is a testament to the transformative power of a great idea paired with meticulous execution. To this day, Serigrafada continues to inspire, reminding us all of the endless possibilities that flourish when creativity finds the right space to thrive.

02. Masterclasses and Workshops
We have organized a series of masterclasses and workshops led by renowned masters in various fine arts disciplines. These sessions aimed to bridge the gap between artists and the broader consumer audience, as well as provide valuable learning opportunities for students interested in honing their craft.

03. Cervejas Plus Special Editions
At Plus Galeria, we went beyond the world of fine arts to create an extraordinary sensory experience by introducing exclusive launches of craft beers. Under the guidance of master brewer Dwain Santee, we meticulously developed a series of exceptional beers that delighted the palates and eyes of our collectors.
Each edition had a different flavor and label, always featuring artwork serigraphically printed directly onto the bottle by artist Oscar Fortunato. These beers had very limited editions, often selling out quickly on the day of their release.

04. Vanitas
Vanitas, our highly acclaimed annual exhibition, delved into the profound theme of skulls as symbolic representations of life’s transience and the fundamental equality shared by all human beings. Held on the sacred Day of the Dead, November 2nd, this exhibition brought together a diverse array of both national and international artists who explored this important subject.
Over the course of ten editions spanning a decade, Vanitas has firmly established itself as a hallmark event for Plus Galeria. Its unprecedented and audacious nature has garnered widespread attention and recognition, making it the cover story for prominent newspapers, as well as a subject of interest for television and radio broadcasts.
With its thought-provoking and visually striking displays, Vanitas has sparked conversations, ignited contemplation, and challenged conventional perspectives. It has served as a platform for artists to push boundaries, engage with existential themes, and communicate profound messages to the audience.
The media coverage surrounding this extraordinary exhibition has not only elevated the profile of Plus Galeria but has also provided a platform for artists to reach a broader audience and engage in meaningful dialogues about life, mortality, and the shared human experience.

05. Pizza Jazz
The fusion of music and gastronomy has provided a unique and memorable experience for our visitors, crafted by an Italian/German pizza maker, Gabriel Lotufo, owner of one of the best pizzerias in Goiania, Artezano Pizza e Pesto.

06. Printing Club
Our gallery has curated a series of exceptional events called Printing Club, where master printers created exclusive artworks live and demonstrated various printing techniques to guests, collectors and the broader public. Each edition showcased a distinct piece, offering insight into the intricate world of printmaking.

07. Exótica
“weird music for beautiful people or vice-versa”
This musical project was conceived by DJ Ezy Fischel and Oscar Fortunato, two avid vinyl collectors. Exótica featured renowned DJs and welcomed music enthusiasts interested in exploring unique sounds.

08. Vinyl Projects
Our passion for vinyl records has led to the organization of numerous other musical projects, all centered around this cherished medium. These events celebrated the richness and timeless essence of vinyl, providing an immersive experience for music lovers.

09. Other relevant projects
In addition to the aforementioned events, Plus Galeria has hosted a range of other noteworthy initiatives, including gastronomic events, print publication launches, plant seedling exchanges, and charitable collaborations with artists in partnership with social organizations. These diverse endeavors reflected our commitment to engaging with the community and fostering a creative environment beyond the traditional art world.
